Our Services
This computer...
at home or at work can be much more useful than you have imagined: to better organize your work, to share doubts with your colleagues and learn from them, to break the isolation in which many of us, as physicians, live.
The Uruguayan physician has added the use of informatics in their daily life: three quarters are Internet and Microsoft Office users. However, computer use in outpatient clinical practice is unusual in Uruguay, compared to its frequent application in many developed countries.
The application of informatics in clinical practice allows to organize it better, improve registration, have statistics, fast access to scientific information, communicate with colleagues or experts, therefore improving patient care and efficiency.
If informatics is applied as stated above, it can become an important tool for health care reform, prioritizing the first level of care, improving the communication with other levels, stressing prevention, improving the management of chronic conditions, empowering patients and helping with information and continuing education needs of physicians working in outpatient settings.
EviMed has therefore developed a system that can be used by the physician in the outpatient setting, while seeing a patient or outside the office; this system intends to standardize and improve clinical processes and foster continuing medical education:
Seeking evidence-based clinical care, adapted to local practices.
Including work-based learning, based on gaps detected by the physicians.
Helping patient empowerment by providing patient education in chronic conditions, given by the treating physician.

The first product and service developed by EviMed is EviDoctor , which combines a computer electronic medical record with information and educational services for those physicians taking care of patients in ambulatory settings, particularly generalists, internists and family physicians.
EviDoctor can help you:
Organize your clinical practice.
Share doubts with your colleagues.
Learn with them, supported by well-known experts, in frequent clinical problems.
These services may be used by individual physicians, at work or at home, as well as by shared clinical practices or by health care institutions.
